Lamu House Hotel and Beach Club is located in Lamu Island, overlooking the harbor. It comprises two converted and remodeled Swahili Houses. The beach club is owned and managed by Spanish expatriates. The legacy of olden Swahili architecture has been preserved and redesigned. Each of the houses comprises five spacious bedrooms, and can host 10 -12 guests. Self catering hoes are equipped with modern facilities. The restaurant serves a rich menu of Swahili and other local dishes, international cuisine is also available.
Lamu House Hotel and Beach Club offers guests airport Transfers as well as daily boat rides to the beach. Guests also enjoy coffee, tea, soft drinks and juices. The hotel also has a residents bar with a wide range of wines and champagnes. Panoramic flights, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing can be arranged up on request. WI-FI internet is available at the office.
The Lamu House Hotel and Beach Club also provide a dhow, complete with experienced crew, for daily excursions. It offers a range of up to ten excursions around the archipelago. Overnight excursions on the dhow can be availed on request.
